Accommodation
The cottage accommodates four and is heated throughout by electric white meter heating. Downstairs is a dining kitchen, living room, bathroom and entrance hall/utility area. Upstairs are two twin bedrooms.
With the exception of the bathroom and entrance hall/utility area all rooms benefit from lovely views towards Town Yetholm and the hills beyond.
Living Room
This is a large, comfortable room which catches the morning sun. It has a wood burning stove which, when lit, makes the room wonderfully cosy. A television, DVD player, radio/CD player and a selection of books, games and details of local attractions are provided. An Ordnance Survey map of the surrounding area has been displayed on one wall for reference purposes.
Kitchen
A well equipped modern dining kitchen with a table seating four, oven, hob and microwave. A fridge freezer is located in the entrance hall/utility area. There is not currently a washing machine although an iron and ironing board are supplied along with internal drying facilities.
Bathroom
A plain and simple white suite with bath and shower over. There is a wall heater and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 1
A spacious, comfortable room with twin beds, chest of drawers and built in hanging space. A hairdryer has also been provided for your convenience.
Bedroom 2
Smaller than Bedroom 1 this room is equally as comfortable again with twin beds, chest of drawers and built in hanging space. This room enjoys a dual aspect making it a lovely bright and sunny room with great views of the surrounding countryside.
Outside
The cottage does not have a garden, however, if you wish to enjoy the evening sunshine there are one or two benches situated at intervals along the lane.
