Cherrytrees Farm Cottage is a self catering holiday home situated approximately one mile from Town Yetholm in the Scottish Borders. If you appreciate beautiful scenery and a peaceful location this is the ideal place for you!
As the name suggests, the cottage was originally a farm cottage belonging to the Cherrytrees Estate. It is approximately 100 years old and is situated along a quiet country lane standing at the end of a terrace of six similar cottages. The cottage benefits from stunning views of the nearby Cheviot Hills – we all know we can’t rely on the great British weather but even when it’s at its worst the views remain spectacular!
The villages of Town Yetholm and Kirk Yetholm are just a mile away and between them offer a butcher, village store, post office, small petrol station and two hotels (The Border in Kirk Yetholm and The Plough in Town Yetholm). Both hotels serve excellent food at reasonable prices and booking is highly recommended.
With the beautiful town of Kelso only 7 miles away, we are in a perfect position for you to explore the Borders, South of Scotland and Northumberland. The stunning Berwickshire and Northumberland coast, rolling Border hills and charming Border towns, are all within easy reach along quiet country roads. Edinburgh and Alnwick are also within easy reach.
